BMW has done a lot of work on the inner workings of the X3. Updating the chassis, as well as aerodynamic components like a roof spoiler and air curtains, has led to better straight line acceleration, stability, and efficiency. All-wheel drive is standard on the xDrive30i trim and the new M40i, and the interior has gotten new features like a 10.25-inch iDrive touch screen and gesture control. As an added bonus, the X3 will also feature a factory-available trailer hitch.
