… Well, the xDrive35i model. At least, that’s what AutoGuide tells us in a recent review of the popular BMW X5 SAV. And we get where they’re coming from. With an options sheet long enough to qualify as a novella and numerous engine options, it can be hard to find a balanced vehicle that’s both fun and a good fit for your everyday driving needs.
Although the xDrive35i is the base model (with optional AWD added on), AutoGuide reviewer Dan Ilika believes it’s a great starting point for those who want luxury, performance, and practicality in one place. It has plenty of power, and its handling characteristics are fun, with a sport mode available if you want more zip. While interior space and upscale furnishings come standard, you can pick and choose in the options list for ways to make it more so.
